Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox, who studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. Lennox's budget was increased with a student stipend and part-time work. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. She left the band prior to their appearance in I.T.V's Talent show New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977-1980. In this band, she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics.
