Lesley Ann Brandt, born December 2, 1981, is a model and actor that has been a part of a number of television shows and movies. Brandt made her debut as a model in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was in her role as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress was featured on a number of shows over the last decade which included Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt is originally from Cape Town South Africa, and then moved with her parents to Auckland New Zealand in late adolescence. Brandt began her modeling career by appearing in advertisements as well as print advertisements. Before her rise to recognition as a model, she was employed in sales at retail as well as working as an IT recruitment consultant. In 2009, she was a part-time actress as a character on a New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. The year 2021 was the year that her debut role in the spotlight was as Naevia the slave in Starz's Spartacus Blood and Sand. The character of Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena.
