Allison Williams

Allison Howell Williams is an American actor and producer. Williams was born on April 13 in 1988. Her name has been referred to as an "horror queen" by media outlets for her film-making work in the horror genre. In 2012-2017, she starred in the role of Marnie Micheals in HBO's drama-comedy series Girls. The show was nominated in the Critics' Choice Award. In 2017, she was nominated in both the MTV Movie Awards as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her performance in Get Out, starring Rose Armitage made her an international star. Her subsequent roles included horror films The Perfection (2018 and M3GAN 2022) and M3GAN 2022, both of which she wrote. Williams was the youngest daughter born and raised, of former NBC Nightly News Anchor and the managing Editor Brian Williams and TV Producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. Her younger brother is also a member of the family. Williams attended New Canaan Country School and Greenwich Academy. Williams later went on to Yale University majoring in English and was also a part of Morse College and the St. Elmo secret society. Williams was a Ralph Lauren outlet employee in New Canaan. She also was part of the comedy group Just Add Water over four years. She also acted in the YouTube series College Musical. It was a project that featured Sam Tsui and was directed by Kurt Hugo Schneider, both of whom attended Yale. She received a Bachelor's degree in English at Yale in the year 2010.
